Home Front Security and Benefits (HFSB) is an innovative public benefit corporation that works with private companies, governments and nonprofits to build mechanisms which reward activities that increase individual and community safety. HFSB’s primary focus is on reducing the economic and social costs of related injuries.

Our unique approach uses marketplace incentives to bring about safe behavior through a variety of initiatives, including:

Creating financial benefits for people to engage in safe behavior

Working with private Medicaid plans that are being called on by states and the federal government to internalize the cost of violence based injuries

Consulting on safety training and risk reduction programs for school systems

Building economic incentives to create concentric circles of safety and to help create technology that reduces preventable violence

Establishing an improved business environment for retailers that maintain and promote best in class safety standards

Helping reduce suicide, especially among returning military veterans, by working with the life insurance industry to reduce the incidence of suicide among their base of insured customers

How We Help

HFSB is working with insurance providers and consumer product designers and retailers to develop and embed safety measures into their product and service offerings. If you believe you have an approach that HFSB should consider, please contact us to discuss further.

The Executive Team at HFSB has years of experience creating scalable successful programs in the insurance, financial services and health care arenas. The team also has communications and political expertise that will allow it to clearly navigate and articulate the value of these unique approaches to both industry and the public.

We at HFSB have studied why marketplace gaps exist in the public safety arena. We are focused on promoting the economic forces like the power of the purse to encourage and deliver programs that provide direct financial incentives, incorporate new technology and provide meaningful support to individuals who want to engage in activities that enhance their safety, families, and communities.
